Buying My Wife Better Beauty Products

My wife is obsessed with makeup, which is why I usually try to get her something special for her birthday. Unfortunately, last year, my gift really fell flat. I purchased an eyeshadow kit that was chock full of colors, but the actual powders weren't the best quality. It was frustrating for her, and I felt really bad that I hadn't invested more into the gift. However, I did some research to learn more about makeup and brands, and now I can buy cosmetics with the best of them. Check out this blog for great ways to tell good products from the bad.

3 Tips For Gorgeous, Microbladed Eyebrows

Lucia Roman

Getting your eyebrows microbladed can leave you with gorgeous eyebrows that make you feel confident. However, there are certain things to keep in mind to get the best results possible. This article will discuss 3 of these tips in more detail:

Let The Artist Know What Style Of Eyebrows You Want

One of the first things that you should consider when it comes to microblading is what shape you would like for your eyebrows. While they, of course, need to follow your natural brow to some extent, you can still get things like a higher arch, fuller ends, thicker brows, etc. When you first meet the artist that will be doing your microblading, it is critical that you tell them what you want. You may want to bring in a picture of what you want your brows to look like as well. The artist will then show you what they are able to do with your current brown shape, and can actually draw the shape onto your own brows so that you can see it. This makes sure that you get the brows that you want because the artist is well informed.

Choose The Correct Fill Color

Just like with other kinds of tattoos, you can choose a specific fill color. While the artist will give you a few different colors to choose from, it is up to you to decide which one you want. You will want to keep in mind the color of your natural brows, as well as the color of eyebrows that you prefer. For example, if your eyebrows are currently very light, then you will probably want to go darker, but not so dark that it looks unnatural. However, if your brows are very dark, then you want your fill color to be just as dark so that the microbladed hairs match your regular eyebrow hairs.

Make Sure To Attend Your Touch-Up

When you get your eyebrows microbladed, it is a two-step process. The first step involves the initial microblading, and the second step involves a touch-up. The touch-up is critical to ensuring that your eyebrows look full and complete. After the eyebrows heal up from the first round of microblading, you may notice that some of the hair strokes aren't as dark as you'd like, or that the color doesn't go through the entire stroke. All of these things are fixed during your touch-up appointment so that the final result is gorgeous, full eyebrows.
